We are currently recruiting for an Operations Supervisors at our Parkersburg, WV site. 
Operations Supervisors act as frontline leadership within our distribution centers.  The primary purpose of this role is to supervise a shift of hourly associates by providing leadership, motivation, training and development to the team.   Exel has a business casual environment and focuses on teamwork, associate development and training. 
How an Operations Supervisor’s day is spent:
Associate Interaction (70% time) – Activities include associate development, one on one coaching, walking throughout work area during assigned shift, conflict resolution among associates, associate group meetings and training. 

Process Improvement (10% time) – Activities include action planning with client, project planning follow-up, space planning, turnover review and workshop participation.  

Planning (5% time) - Activities include manpower planning, equipment maintenance, work flow prioritization and daily scheduling.

Human Resources (5% time) - Activities include identifying labor needs, interviews and recruiting activities, implementing training, and coaching / counseling for improved performance.

Communications (5% time) - Activities include staff meetings, customer interactions, vendor/service provider interactions, and internal communications with peers, staff and internal business unit departments. 

Reporting (5% time) - Activities include Key Performance Indicator tracking, quality reports, audits, financial reporting, material handling equipment reports, site or individual performance tracking and customer required reports.

The skills and qualifications required for this position include:
o 18 years of age or over

o Strong computer skills and math aptitude
o The ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs

Job Description 
*Candidates cannot begin an assignment without successful drug & background clearances, including employment & education verification. 
*Six month contract assignment in Parkersburg, WV 
This role reviews and scans old documents and map records; creates electronic files and updates GIS system. Works with other department personnel to obtain and verify information needed to produce detailed drawings from designer and engineer sketches for circuit drawings and one-lines. Creates and updates drawings through use of computer aided drafting system. Maintains computer aided drafting system in operational condition. Retrieves and issues original drawings from records management and reproduces maps. Drafts and performs simple design functions for mechanical, electrical or civil construction drawings. Advises and assists in training less experienced personnel. 

Job Requirements
Require related experience. Basic knowledge of drafting principles. Basic knowledge of computer skills for CAD system. Basic knowledge of company mapping methods. 
Skills: manual technical drawing and computer assisted drawing; verbal and written communication. 
Abilities: analytical and abstract thinking; process information quickly. College grads welcome if they have GIS and CAD experience.

Bi-Con Engineering Electrical Engineer

Bi-Con Engineering is looking to fill the position of an Electrical Designer. They are an engineering firm just south of Cambridge, OH who works primarily in the natural gas industry. Bi-Con Services has been in the area since the late 60’s and we are not a new player in the field. The engineering division is in a growth mode and will be filling several positions over the next several years. The drive up 77 to our only takes about 45 minutes from the Parkersburg area.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk position available at local fashion jewelry ecommerce company. 

The shipping/receiving clerk is responsible for preparing bulk shipments to fulfillment centers and individual retail shipments, as well as receiving incoming shipments from manufacturers. The position requires stocking and maintenance of inventory in climate-controlled warehouse. This individual will assist the Shipping Manager and Receiving Manager and will help supervise 2-3 packers. Shipping clerk will substitute for Shipping and Receiving Managers on days off and during vacations. Position involves great attention to detail, ability to work with computer shipping and inventory software and retail web sites. Applicant must be able to organize merchandise utilizing alpha-numeric bin locations. Neat, legible hand writing required. Qualified individual will possess basic familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus. Previous experience managing employees, performing warehouse and inventory functions is helpful. Ability to work closely with others is essential. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Work hours are 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.
