Center for Student Support Services-Office Assistant

Department/Division: Center for Student Support Services- Room 1019

Supervisor: Kurt Klettner/Pam Clevenger

Purpose of Student's Job: You will report to Ms. Pam Clevenger and assist all office staff with general office duties for Disability/Counseling and in the Accessibility Test Center.

Preferred Time to Perform Job: Office Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Monday through Friday

Pay: $8.75 an Hour

Hours: 15-20 per week

Description of Duties:

·        Answer telephone and take messages as directed

·        Schedule office appointments on computer

·        Schedule rooms for the Accessibility Test Center (ATC)

·        Assist with proctoring of exams for accommodated testing

·        Assist with adaptive equipment in the  ATC & receiving or delivering exams for faculty

·        Help complete assigned projects, faxing and printing documents

·        Make copies/fold papers/stuff envelopes, process documents for mailings

·        Assist students who call or walk into the office

·        Will go through HIPPA certification

·        Other office duties as assigned or necessary

·        Appropriate office attire is expected (essential)
