Peer Coach/Tele Counselor

Department/Division: Center for Student Services

Supervisor David Shutts

Purpose of Student's Job: To make phone calls relating to the assigned calling list/campaign

Preferred Time to Perform Job: Able to work both day and evening shifts (between the hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

Pay: $9.50 an Hour

Hours: 20 per week

Description of Duties:

Admissions/Records/Financial Aid:

·        Assist with large call lists/campaigns

·        Answer telephone and take messages as directed

·        Assist students who call about OLSIS, Student Email, FAFSA, etc.

·        Schedule appointments

·        Help complete assigned projects

·        Assist with registration and Financial Aid

·        Other office duties as assigned or necessary

Office Standards:

·        Must be able to handle sensitive and/or confidential information with utmost professionalism

·        Appropriate office attire is expected
